The Bellaire Business Bash, an annual event in Bellaire, has been rescheduled to August 16th due to potential severe weather conditions. Originally planned for today, the decision to postpone was made in consideration of the high humidity, heavy rain, storms, and possible wind gusts forecasted for the day. The National Weather Service predicted a 60% chance of rain with scattered thunderstorms and gusty winds, prompting organizers to prioritize the safety and comfort of attendees.
The event will still be held at the historic Union Square Park, with the Bellaire Business Alliance aiming to showcase cars, trucks, and motorcycles along Belmont Street. Registration for participants will begin at 3 p.m. on 36th Street, with pre-registration still being accepted for those interested in showcasing their vehicles. The car show is set to kick off at 5 p.m., with awards being presented at 8 p.m. Attendees can enjoy live music by Taylor Jo and the Copper Creek Band, as well as D.J. Bobbi Bandoni.
