Metal Hangar 18 presents „Fine Graff Art“ and Inside Ink Tattoo Studio & Tattoo Community Hub with a new large-scale initiative

A few months ago, Inside Ink Tattoo Studio opened its doors in Sofia, becoming the first tattoo community hub in the country. The studio aims to develop the tattoo community by sharing experiences and news from the industry, hosting various thematic events, and now actively participating in a large-scale charitable initiative. In collaboration with the „Fine Graff Art“ Foundation and its founder Stanislav Trifonov, better known as Nasimo, they are raising funds to improve the educational environment in local schools. On June 1st and 2nd, fine art and tattoo artists will collaborate to create unique paintings on canvas, which will be presented and sold at an open auction.

The joint initiative is titled „Art that Transforms: Drawing the Future of Education,“ and besides selling limited artworks and prints, funds will also be collected through donations to the foundation’s account. The raised amount will be entirely directed towards school renovations and mural paintings, with a virtual gallery showcasing all the artworks, artists, and donors. Participants will create their art over two days, with the overall theme corresponding to the foundation’s mission. Tattoo artists Spiro, Petya Evlogieva, Alex Rodriguez – Cubineca, Mario Botev – RIJV, Julian Pavlov, Kalin Tonev, and fine art artists Stanislav Trifonov – Nasimo, Kamen Bonev, Dimitar Yotov, Svetlozar Yankov, Ivan Shopov, and Damyan Bumbalov will be painting at the studio.

To minimize the environmental footprint, sustainable materials will be used in the initiative, and the project aims to have a long-term effect by maintaining connections with schools after renovations are completed and organizing follow-up initiatives for further beautification and enhancement. Future plans include involving volunteers – students and their families, with preliminary sketches presented at each school for approval.

The „Great Wall of Bulgaria“ Foundation’s project will not only contribute to improving the educational and urban environment in our country but will also create a unique event that unites the community, helping to build connections between creators and people who share a love for art and education.

The idea for the initiative comes from Stanislav Trifonov – Nasimo, one of the most established and active street art artists in Bulgaria. His works are appreciated worldwide and can be seen on several continents, with some spreading across the facades of multi-story buildings. A few years ago, he was awarded by the Targovishte Municipality for „Contribution to the Development of Culture“ in the category of „Fine Arts.“

The „Fine Graff Art“ Foundation and Inside Ink Tattoo Studio are open to suggestions and collaboration with anyone who would like to participate in the project.

Inside Ink Tattoo Studio/ Community Hub, located at 6th September Street No. 4, covers an area of 220 sq. m. Its creators are the organizers of the largest tattoo and alternative culture event in Bulgaria – Bulgaria Tattoo Expo. The new studio is not just a tattoo studio but a place where the tattoo community can meet, share experiences, exchange ideas, and news from the world of tattoos. The studio not only employs permanent tattoo artists and guest artists from Bulgaria and abroad but also hosts various events of different formats and themes for professionals, beginners, and tattoo enthusiasts.

„After two studios, the first of which has been operating for 16 years, and after eight successful editions of Bulgaria Tattoo Expo, our mission continues to be the same – to unite the community and popularize contemporary tattoo culture in Bulgaria. We can’t wait to continue doing what we love most with our upcoming project,“ share Tsvetan Tsvetanov and Veselin Zamfirov, the owners of Inside Ink Tattoo Studio.

The „Fine Graff Art“ Foundation was established at the beginning of 2024 with the main mission of turning art into an everyday experience for a large part of our society. Schools and kindergartens are the places where this mission is spread, as this is where our future is shaped. The environment in which our children spend a significant part of their day deserves to be changed and transformed into an inspiring and creatively stimulating atmosphere.
