MA Al-Barakah Singkep Successfully Conducts Computer-Based National Assessment

Madrasah Aliyah Al-Barakah Singkep recently successfully conducted the Assessment Nasional Berstandar Komputer (ANBK) and Assessment Kompetensi Madrasah Indonesia (AKMI). The ANBK took place on Monday-Tuesday, August 19-20, 2024, while the AKMI was held on Tuesday-Wednesday, August 27-28, 2024. The assessments were carried out in the computer lab of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Barakah Singkep and involved all students of class XI.

The ANBK aims to assess the quality of education in every school across Indonesia. This assessment involves three main components: Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM), which measures students‘ literacy and numeracy skills, Character Survey, which evaluates students‘ character and moral values. On the other hand, AKMI, or the Assessment of Madrasah Indonesia Competencies, is an evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Religion to measure the abilities of madrasah students in reading literacy, numeracy, science, and social culture.

The Head of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Barakah Singkep, Darwis, S.Pd.I, expressed his gratitude to the organizing committee and supervisors of ANBK and AKMI for their hard work in ensuring the success of the assessments without any issues. He thanked the teachers who served as committee members and supervisors for their dedication and commitment to the smooth and successful implementation of the activities.

Darwis also extended his appreciation to all students of class XI at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Barakah Singkep and their parents for their continuous support and encouragement, which contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the assessments. He emphasized that the success of the assessments was a result of thorough preparation and solid teamwork from the organizing committee, starting from simulations, rehearsals, to the actual implementation of the activities according to the predetermined schedule.

„We hope that the results of these assessments can provide an objective overview of the students‘ abilities and serve as a basis for improving the quality of education in the madrasah,“ Darwis expressed his hope for the future.

In conclusion, the successful implementation of the ANBK and AKMI at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Barakah Singkep reflects the dedication and commitment of the school’s staff, students, and parents towards enhancing the quality of education. The assessments serve as a valuable tool for evaluating students‘ competencies and guiding future educational improvements.
