Admissions now open for UG, PG distance and online courses at Jamia Millia Islamia for 2024-25. Visit jmicoe.in for more information.

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), the central university in Delhi, has recently announced the commencement of its admission process for various distance and online programmes for the academic year 2024-25. The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) released a notice on August 1, inviting interested applicants to register for the programmes.

According to the notice, online application forms are now available on the official website at www.jmicoe.in. The university will be accepting registrations until August 31, after which the online application portal will be closed, and no further applications will be entertained. This deadline emphasizes the importance of timely submission for prospective students.

The window for document verification and payment of fees will open from September 17 onwards. It is crucial for candidates to complete the admission process, including document verification and fee payment, by September 29. JMI offers these programmes in dual modes, providing students with the flexibility of online and distance learning options.

For the MBA programme, admission is based on an entrance test scheduled to be conducted by the university on September 15. Students can also apply for admissions to various postgraduate and undergraduate programmes. However, admissions to these programmes will be based on merit in the qualifying exams.

The university is currently accepting registrations for 12 PG programmes, including MA in Education, English, Geography, Hindi, History, HRM, Islamic Studies, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, Urdu, and MCom. Additionally, registrations are open for four UG programmes, including BA (General), BBA, BCom, and BCIBF.

It is important to note that admissions to the Bachelor of Education (BEd) programmes will be notified later, depending on the UGC-DEB guidelines. Candidates are advised to refer to the official website for more information and updates regarding the admission process.

In conclusion, Jamia Millia Islamia’s admission process for distance and online programmes for the academic year 2024-25 is now underway. With a wide range of programmes available in both PG and UG categories, prospective students have the opportunity to pursue their academic goals through flexible learning options. Interested applicants are encouraged to complete the registration process before the deadline and stay updated with the university’s official announcements.
