The village board of Arlington Heights approved zoning requests to allow Arlington Heights Ford to use the newly acquired warehouse for fleet vehicle repairs. In compliance with village regulations, Arlington Heights Ford is prohibited from outdoor storage of tires, batteries, and other repair materials. The dealership is also required to install a 3-foot landscape screen between the parking lot and Ridge Avenue by November. Trustee Tom Schwingbeck noted that the existing shrubbery already provides a level of privacy, ensuring that the dealership’s operations remain discreet and visually appealing.
