Best food and drink events happening in St. Louis this month

August in St. Louis is shaping up to be a month filled with exciting food and drink events for locals and visitors alike. From food festivals to themed brunches, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Let’s take a closer look at some of the highlights happening throughout the month.

One of the standout events is the Taste of St. Louis, taking place from August 2nd to 4th at Ballpark Village. This culinary celebration will feature food and drinks from 40 local vendors, as well as live music. It’s the city’s flagship food event of the year, and attendees can expect a wide variety of delicious offerings to sample and enjoy.

For those looking to bring their furry friends along, Yappy Hour at Le Meridien Clayton St. Louis on August 6, 13, and 20 is the perfect opportunity. This happy hour event promises good times for both dogs and their humans, with „barkuterie boards,“ puppy mocktails, and small bites available. There will even be a Paint with your Pup activity for a fun and creative experience.

Mac & Cheese lovers won’t want to miss the St. Louis Mac & Cheese Fest on August 10 at Armory STL. This celebration of all things cheesy will allow attendees to sample different styles of mac & cheese and even build their own at the decadent all-you-can-eat mac & cheese buffet for VIP ticket holders.

Beer enthusiasts can head to Tilles Park on August 10 for the Global Brew Party in the Park. This event offers unlimited beer, seltzers, and ciders, along with dog-friendly games, family-friendly activities, a DJ, a bags tournament, and adoptable dogs from CARE STL. As part of the Blues at the Arch Festival, the St. Louis Blues Brunch will take place on August 11 at 612 North Event Space + Catering. For those interested in learning how to make sushi, Vino STL will host Sushi for Starters on August 18. Chef Legina will teach attendees how to make restaurant-quality rolls like salmon and shrimp tempura, with the option to BYOB for a fun and interactive class.

Whiskey enthusiasts can head to Vom Fass STL on August 18 for Whiskey Dram Sunday: Ich Bin Whisky! This event will focus on German whiskies, with samples of different varieties before guests select one for their dram.

Anheuser Busch Biergarten will host a Beer & Food Pairing Dinner on August 22, offering a four-course meal with dishes meant to complement different AB beers. It’s a chance to explore the interplay of beer and food in a beautiful setting.

On August 22, 21c Museum Hotel St. Louis will host Sip & Tour – Pop Stars, inspired by the Pop Stars! Popular Culture and Contemporary Art exhibit. Guests can enjoy a specially crafted cocktail while touring the exhibit and learning how it’s made.

The Festival of Nations on August 24-25 at Tower Grove Park is a multicultural extravaganza showcasing the traditions, flavors, sounds, and art of over 80 nations.
