Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Snoop Dogg are just a few of the talented musicians who will take the stage during the LA28 Handover musical spectacle on August 11.
In addition to these iconic performers, Grammy, Oscar, and Emmy-winning artist H.E.R. will have the honor of performing the U.S. National Anthem live in Paris during the closing ceremony. This star-studded event is curated to not only entertain but also to provide a glimpse into what fans can expect from the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles.
The LA28 Countdown will be hosted by tennis champion Venus Williams, a five-time Olympic medalist who will bring her expertise and charisma to the stage. Alongside the musical performances, the show will offer viewers a sneak peek at the upcoming LA28 Games, as well as behind-the-scenes footage that will give audiences a taste of the excitement to come.

The LA28 musical spectacle will not only showcase talented musicians but will also feature Team USA Olympians, including skateboarder Jagger Eaton, mountain biker Kate Courtney, and track and field gold medalist Michael Johnson. Special guests such as Olympic legends Carl Lewis and Sugar Ray Leonard, USA Water Polo hall of famer Brenda Villa, and Paralympic swimmer Rudy Garcia-Tolson will also make appearances, adding to the excitement of the event.
The 2028 Summer Games will mark the third time that Los Angeles has hosted the Olympic Games, with previous hosting duties in 1984 and 1932. This will be the first time that the city will also host the Paralympic Games, further solidifying its status as a world-class sporting destination.
