The 10th PropertyGuru Asia Awards Malaysia recently took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where outstanding companies, developments, and personalities in the real estate industry were honoured in 48 categories. PropertyGuru Group, Southeast Asia’s leading property technology company, partnered with iProperty.com.my to host the prestigious event at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
The winners of this year’s awards were decided by a panel of local and foreign experts, as well as the people of Malaysia. Among the top winners was WCT Land Sdn Bhd, which received nine golden statuettes, including Best Developer (Malaysia), Best Developer (Central Malaysia), and Best Mixed Use Developer. UEM Sunrise Berhad also had a successful night, taking home nine wins for various projects such as The Connaught One and Allevia Mont’Kiara.
Sime Darby Property was another big winner, receiving five golden statuettes, including the prestigious Best Landed Development (Malaysia) award for Ilham Residence. Other notable winners in the Developer categories included Mah Sing Group Berhad, Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor, Tanah Sutera Development Sdn Bhd, and Tanjung Ratna Sdn Bhd.
The winners were selected by an independent panel of expert judges who provided unbiased insights during the Live Judging Days. The panel consisted of industry professionals such as architects, designers, engineers, and property managers. John Ler and Kelvin Chew from HLB Ler Lum Chew – HLB Malaysia served as the official supervisors to ensure a fair and transparent selection process.
In addition to the expert judges, property seekers in Malaysia also had the opportunity to recognize the top developers in the country through the People’s Choice Awards. The winners included Chin Hin Group Property, Eastern & Oriental Berhad, Glomac Berhad, and others.
The awards ceremony also featured special awards such as the Portal’s Choice Awards, which recognized developers for their visionary projects and contributions to the industry. The Rising Star Award was presented to Ms. Lindy Tan of BCB Berhad for her innovative approach to real estate.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the Malaysia Real Estate Personality of the Year award to Tan Sri Dato‘ Seri Vincent Tan, founder and advisor of Berjaya Corporation Berhad. He was honored for his remarkable achievements and contributions to the real estate industry.

The winners showcased the highest standards of design, development, and innovation, setting a gold standard for the industry.
