BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – A College Station man, Conner Zaragoza, has been arrested by the Bryan Police Department (BPD) for allegedly breaking into multiple vehicles in the Alamosa Springs neighborhood near the Brazos County Expo Complex. The arrest came after officers witnessed Zaragoza breaking into vehicles during an investigation on Sunday.
After stopping Zaragoza’s vehicle about a mile-and-a-half away from the neighborhood, officers discovered multiple firearms that were reported stolen. Some of the items found were confirmed to be stolen property dating back several months in both Bryan and College Station.
Following a warrant search of Zaragoza’s home, BPD’s Directed Deployment team uncovered six firearms and items stolen from at least seven different vehicle burglaries. In total, 10 stolen firearms were located during this investigation. Zaragoza now faces three counts of Theft of Firearm charges, two counts of Burglary of Vehicles, and a single count of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He is currently being held on an $85,000 bond at the Brazos County Jail.

Over a two-week period between July 19th and August 3rd, officers responded to multiple vehicle burglaries in southwest Bryan. A search warrant executed at Zaragoza’s residence on Linda Lane revealed additional stolen property from vehicle burglaries in Bryan and College Station. The recovered property dated back several months, indicating a pattern of criminal activity.
