Rankin’s previous roles include HR director at Lloyds Banking Group and head of HR for the retail network at Santander UK. Her experience in driving culture change, talent and succession planning, reward systems, and leadership development will be invaluable in her new position. In a statement, Rankin expressed her excitement about joining Yorkshire Building Society, highlighting the organization’s focus on customer outcomes and positive societal impact. She emphasized her commitment to building an ambitious and inclusive culture within the company.

Susan Allen, the chief executive of Yorkshire Building Society, expressed her enthusiasm for Rankin’s appointment, noting that Rankin’s skills and experience will bring new perspectives and insights to the organization. The addition of Rankin to the leadership team is expected to further strengthen the company’s strategic people initiatives and support its ongoing growth and success.

In a separate announcement, UNTHA UK, a North Yorkshire-based industrial shredder specialist, revealed a quartet of new appointments to its team. Dale Liptrott and Rich Wakeley have joined the sales department as experienced sales consultants, bringing a wealth of knowledge in capital equipment sales and corporate sales, respectively. Their expertise will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities and nurturing client relationships to drive the company’s sales strategy forward.

Additionally, Alice Kelly has been appointed as the marketing and content manager, leveraging her PR and marketing background to develop multichannel communication strategies for UNTHA UK. Mark Sandercock, a seasoned service engineer with experience in maintaining heavy plant machinery, will provide service and repair support for the company’s range of shredders. These strategic appointments reflect UNTHA UK’s commitment to expanding its capabilities and enhancing its team to support continued growth and innovation.

Vivly Living, a residential property developer based in Huddersfield, has welcomed Joe Murray as a trainee marketing executive to strengthen its marketing team. Murray, who brings digital marketing skills and a passion for the property sector, expressed his excitement about the opportunity to work with a respected developer like Vivly Living. His appointment underscores the company’s focus on digital marketing and social media campaigns to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.

Jen Wass, head of marketing at Vivly Living, highlighted Murray’s enthusiasm and digital marketing expertise as valuable assets to the marketing team. With developments underway in various locations across West Yorkshire, including Shepley, Skelmanthorpe, and Denby Dale, Vivly Living is poised for continued growth and success in the residential property market.

Lastly, ThreeTenSeven, a Leeds-based brand transformation consultancy firm, has announced four new hires across its business. Laura Jones and Alex Keaney have joined the client services team, bringing extensive agency experience in brand marketing and project management. Erik Winterburn and Haris Khan have been appointed to the creative and account executive roles, respectively, to support the agency’s client projects and marketing initiatives.

The company has also made strategic moves in its Strategy team, with Em Blalock and Nick Hynes transitioning into strategist roles to enhance the agency’s strategic capabilities.
