The name „Bogey’s“ is a clever play on the golf term „bogey,“ adding a touch of humor and familiarity to the establishment.
Bringing golf indoors was no easy feat for Bullock and his team. The process began in November, with extensive research on various golf lounges and simulator activity centers in and around the Portland area. One of the main challenges was transforming the former cubicle office space into a spacious restaurant and activity spot that could accommodate both the restaurant operation and simulators. It took six months to update the occupancy codes and create the inviting space that Bogey’s is today.
The heart of Bogey’s lies in its two state-of-the-art simulators: the E6 Connect and The Golf Course (2019), also known as TGC. These simulators provide players with detailed information to help them improve their swings and enhance their overall golfing experience. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, the simulators at Bogey’s offer a fun and interactive way to enjoy the game. If you don’t have your own clubs, you can rent them for a nominal fee.
The E6 simulator boasts around 100 golf courses, including the famous Bandon Dunes, while TGC offers over 1,700 courses, including the local Salem Golf Course. The simulators can accommodate multiple players, making it a great spot for group outings or private events. In addition to the simulators, Bogey’s also features a small putting green area, a John Wick pinball machine, dart machines, and golfing arcade games for added entertainment.

The clubhouse-inspired menu features a variety of delicious offerings, including hotdogs, sandwiches, soups, salads, and appetizers.
