This year, festival-goers can look forward to indulging in unique creations like the Peking Duck Croissant from Beaucoup Bakery x Chinatown BBQ, the Yellow Curry Brisket Bao from Kam Wai Dim Sum x Memphis Blues BBQ, and the Yin Yang Egg Custard Tea from DD Mau x Boss Bakery. Additionally, Mello and Salt will be teaming up to offer a special donut that is sure to delight taste buds.
For those looking for a more exclusive culinary experience, Light Up Chinatown! is introducing the Hawkers Lane section this year. Ten of the city’s top chefs will be serving up special dishes that can be enjoyed through pre-sold tasting menus. The Premiere and The Exclusive sets each feature five dishes that showcase the best of street food-inspired creations. From Juke’s Fried Chicken Skewer to Bao Bei’s Shao Bing Ice Cream Sandwich, these dishes are sure to impress even the most discerning foodies.
To get a taste of these exclusive dishes, attendees must pre-order the set menus online. Limited single-item orders may be available on the day of the event, but securing a spot in advance is recommended. The Premiere menu will be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, while The Encore menu can be enjoyed from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
