Additionally, the Senior Training Manager will be responsible for line managing a team of Tutors and Employment Coaches to support learners in developing relevant work skills for transitioning into employment.
Other duties include overseeing the training of delivery staff, identifying commercial work opportunities, maintaining production targets, executing and reviewing industry improvement plans, and building positive partnerships both internally and externally. The ideal candidate must have proven experience working in an industrial or commercial training/production environment, managing large teams and budgets. They should also hold or be working towards IOSH certification, possess an understanding of ISO9001 standards or similar quality management systems, and have knowledge of health and safety requirements in industrial settings and adult learning principles.
In addition, the Senior Training Manager should have the ability to handle conflict and disciplinary issues effectively, demonstrate strong leadership and performance management skills, and be able to inspire, lead, and motivate teaching staff and learners.
