Genís Roca sponsors the Graduation Ceremony of Euncet Business School

The graduation ceremony of the Euncet Business School for the class of 2021-2022 was a momentous occasion held at the Auditori de Barcelona on Saturday, July 9th. Nearly four hundred students from various degree and master’s programs, as well as Executive Education, the WESE program, and the online Master’s in Cybersecurity, gathered to celebrate their academic achievements. With over a thousand attendees in total, the event was a grand affair filled with pride and excitement.

The ceremony featured speeches from key figures such as Mr. Rafel Niubò, the president of the Board of Directors of the Euncet Business School, Ms. Núria Marín, the deputy mayor for Economic Promotion of the Terrassa City Council, Dr. Imma Ribas, the vice-rector for Quality and Language Policy at UPC, Mr. Josep Maria Lluch, the general director of the Euncet Business School, and Mr. Alfons Freixes, the director of the University Center. Additionally, student representatives from each graduating program delivered heartfelt speeches, reflecting on their academic journey and future aspirations.

The hard work and dedication of the students were duly recognized with awards for the best academic records and final projects, as well as for the most highly rated faculty members in each program. It was a moment of celebration and acknowledgment of the commitment and excellence displayed by both students and educators throughout the academic year.

The highlight of the event was the keynote address titled „What will the businesses you manage be like?“ delivered by Genís Roca, the godfather of the 2021 Graduation Ceremony. As an archaeologist, entrepreneur, managing partner of RocaSalvatella, president of the puntCAT Foundation, and expert in digital transformation, Roca provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape of the professional world that awaits the graduating students. With the digital revolution reshaping the business sector, the new generation of professionals plays a crucial role in driving change and innovation.

One of the standout moments of the ceremony was the graduation of the first cohort of students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences and Technologies in Sport and Fitness (CTEF). Launched in 2018 in collaboration with Eurofitness and the Union of Sports Federations of Catalonia (UFEC), the CTEF program is a pioneering initiative in the field of sports, science, and technology. It aims to meet the evolving needs of society and the sports industry by equipping students with cutting-edge knowledge and skills.

For over 40 years, the Euncet Business School, affiliated with the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, has been at the forefront of shaping future leaders. Since its establishment in 1981, the school has experienced significant growth and expansion, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, Executive Modular Education, and recently launched online Master’s programs in cybersecurity and esports. With a strong commitment to excellence and innovation, the Euncet Business School continues to empower students to thrive in a rapidly changing business landscape.

In conclusion, the Graduation Ceremony of the Euncet Business School was a moment of pride, reflection, and anticipation for the bright futures that lie ahead for the graduating students. As they embark on their professional journeys, equipped with knowledge, skills, and determination, they are poised to make a positive impact and shape the future of business and society.
