Integration Foundation’s Estonian language courses now open for registration

As the fall season approaches, the Integration Foundation in Estonia is once again offering free beginner and continuing Estonian language courses for over 1,400 permanent residents and returnees to the country. This initiative aims to support individuals in integrating into Estonian society by providing them with the necessary language skills to communicate effectively and participate fully in various aspects of life in Estonia.

The courses, which will run from August through November, cater to participants at different proficiency levels, including beginner and intermediate levels. These levels are categorized as A1, A2, B1.1, and B1.2 under the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). This structured approach ensures that individuals can progress in their language learning journey and build upon their existing knowledge and skills.

Participants have the flexibility to choose between online or in-person classes, which will be held in various locations such as Tallinn, Tartu, Sillamäe, Jõhvi, Kohtla-Järve, Narva, and Lüganuse Parish. This diverse range of locations allows individuals from different regions to access the courses conveniently and engage in language learning in a supportive environment.

Registration for the courses opened on Monday morning, and interested individuals can select the course that best suits their proficiency level, location, and schedule. The registration process is straightforward and can be completed via the self-service page on the Integration Foundation’s homepage. It is advisable to register early as spaces are limited, and registration will remain open until the groups are full or the day before a course commences.

For those who have further questions or require assistance, advisers at the Integration Foundation can be contacted via email at [email protected] or by phone at +372 800 9999. These advisers are available to provide guidance and support to individuals throughout their language learning journey and ensure that they have a positive and enriching experience.

The Integration Foundation’s Estonian language courses are not only for permanent residents but also for returnees to Estonia. This inclusive approach reflects the foundation’s commitment to supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and ensuring that everyone has access to language learning opportunities. With a total of 76 free Estonian language courses available, up to 1,408 individuals can benefit from this valuable initiative.

In addition to the Estonian language courses, the Integration Foundation also offers language learning opportunities for newly-arrived immigrants through the Settle on Estonia adaptation program. This comprehensive approach to language education caters to the diverse needs of individuals seeking to enhance their language skills and integrate successfully into Estonian society.

For more detailed information about the Estonian language courses organized by the Integration Foundation, interested individuals can refer to the insights provided by language education manager Jana Tondi. These resources offer valuable guidance and support to individuals embarking on their language learning journey and seeking to improve their proficiency in Estonian.

In conclusion, the Integration Foundation’s free Estonian language courses play a crucial role in supporting individuals in their integration process and empowering them to communicate effectively in Estonian society. By offering a range of courses at different proficiency levels and locations, the foundation ensures that individuals have access to high-quality language education that meets their specific needs. Through these initiatives, the Integration Foundation continues to promote inclusivity, diversity, and language learning excellence in Estonia.
