Knutsford At Home is an exciting event that offers people the opportunity to meet design specialists and architect consultants. Hosted by Knutsford Town Council in collaboration with home and interior businesses, this event aims to provide advice and information to help prepare homes for autumn. Taking place on Saturday, September 21, Knutsford At Home promises to be a day filled with artist workshops, exclusive offers, and the launch of new collections.
Sandra Curties, the town centre manager at Knutsford Town Council, expressed her pride in working alongside interior shops for the third Knutsford At Home event. She emphasized that the event is a one-stop-shop for all things interiors, whether you are planning a full renovation or just looking for those finishing touches. The support of sponsors Slater & Gordon has been instrumental in making this event possible.
One of the highlights of Knutsford At Home will be a talk by Sam Youd, the former head gardener at Tatton Park. Drawing upon his vast experience in horticulture, Youd will present a talk entitled ‚Plotting & Planning‘ in the Secret Room at Lost & Found. Additionally, a workshop focused on ‚Alcohol Ink Art‘ will be held at Havwoods, where participants can create stunning artwork under the guidance of Louise Williamson from Big Canvas Art.
At Holly Johnson Antiques, decorative surface designer Diane Marsland will be demonstrating her techniques for hand painting chinoiserie silk. Participants can also look forward to a taster silk painting workshop co-hosted by Marsland and Julie Hamer on September 22. Julie Hamer, the manager at Holly Johnston Antiques, expressed her excitement for the event and the opportunity to inspire attendees with their projects.
Throughout the town, designer experts and architects will be available in shops to provide advice and inspiration. Many shops will also offer light refreshments, creating a relaxed shopping environment for attendees. Participating businesses include KQC, Havwoods, Detaljer, Oka, Arthur Lee, R.I Home, Holly Johnson Antiques, and more.
The event has been sponsored by the Knutsford Family Law office of Slater & Gordon. A leaflet containing information about the event, including booking details for activities, is available throughout the town centre. Knutsford At Home promises to be a day filled with valuable insights, creative workshops, and the opportunity to connect with experts in the field of home design and architecture.
