After four years of activity, the company PBD09 inaugurated its new office and store in the presence of local officials and friends.
Established four years ago, PBD09 is a company specializing in the sale and installation of machinery and mechanical equipment, as well as the installation of refrigeration equipment, as well as aeraulic, refrigeration, and thermal installations. The inauguration of the new office and store was celebrated in the presence of Louis Marette, the mayor of Mazères, along with his deputies, county councilors Géraldine Pons and Jean-Michel Soler, as well as friends.
According to Isabelle Ferrand Oliveira and José Oliveira, the company’s directors, the new office and store mark a new milestone in the company’s evolution. „Four years ago, we started working as a team in our house, but it is difficult to receive clients or suppliers in your kitchen, even though it can be very friendly. It is also challenging to store goods in your living room or hallway,“ they explain. „We were offered premises in the Mazères area, but nothing matched our business needs. When Mr. Soules informed us of the sale of his workshop, we confirmed, with the help of architect Christophe Pelous, that the project was feasible in these premises.“
Isabelle and José did not forget to thank Christophe Pelous for organizing the construction site and especially for having the patience to listen to Isabelle’s thousand ideas. „We designed the plans together, and the result is there. The choice of craftsmen was important, with a desire to work with local businesses. Thank you all for accepting my challenges.“ Of course, none of this would have been possible without financing. Isabelle Ferrand Oliveira and José Oliveira thanked their bank, as well as all the people present at the inauguration and those who were unable to attend that evening.
Isabelle concluded by saying, „I wanted this store to resemble everything my grandparents had taught me. A warm welcome, a good sense of commerce and customer service, in the image of what was done at that time. In memory and in their honor, I have collected various decorative elements from the Ferrand grocery store.“ She also thanked José for allowing her to highlight these memories from her childhood at the old grocery store. „Some Mazères residents may perhaps reminisce.“ To conclude and make way for a cocktail dinner, José and Isabelle thanked the shopkeepers of Mazères for preparing the appetizers.
