Eika Real Estate Fund, managed by Eika Asset Management, recently acquired a logistics building located at 9-ojo Forto gatvė in Kaunas, Lithuania. The building boasts a total area of over 5600 square meters and was purchased from the tenant of the property, UAB „Nemuno vaistinė,“ who operates the pharmacy chain „Camelia.“ The transaction was completed without the involvement of real estate brokers, as per the agreement between the parties, and the financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
According to Victoria Orkinė, the CEO of Eika Asset Management, the successful completion of the transaction was made possible through close collaboration with UAB „Nemuno vaistinė“ since the signing of the lease agreement. This mutually beneficial deal highlights the strategic approach taken by both parties in achieving their respective goals.
Aušra Budrikienė, the CEO of UAB „Nemuno vaistinė,“ expressed that the acquired building meets all the requirements set forth by the pharmaceutical company. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, the company has continuously grown in terms of the number of pharmacies and employees, as well as in improving operational processes. The expanding product range, the development of business areas, and the need for continuous improvement and growth have led to the search for convenient solutions for central office and warehouse operations.
Budrikienė further explains, „The spacious premises of the building, along with modern logistics and infrastructure solutions, met our requirements, prompting us to make the decision to acquire the building from the landlords. This move aligns with our commitment to providing top-notch services to our customers and ensuring the efficient operation of our business.“
The acquisition of the logistics building in Kaunas signifies a strategic investment for Eika Real Estate Fund, further diversifying its portfolio and strengthening its presence in the real estate market. The successful collaboration between Eika Asset Management and UAB „Nemuno vaistinė“ underscores the importance of partnerships in achieving mutual success in the business world.
