He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Molly Kathryn Johnson of Bryant, Arkansas, and their children: Neil Johnson and wife Kim of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Kim Avery of Little Rock, Arkansas, Michael Johnson and wife Stacey of Twin Falls, Idaho, Lorraine Southworth and husband David of Queen Creek, Arizona, Aaron Johnson of Benton, Arkansas, Rebekah Longeway of Bryant, Arkansas, and Gwyn Jent and husband Beau of Mesa, Arizona. John’s unwavering support and encouragement were evident in his relationships with his children.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate John’s life will be held on September 3, 2024, at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, beginning at 10:00 AM.
