The prosecutors from the National Anticorruption Directorate – Suceava Territorial Service are currently conducting investigations in a criminal case involving suspicions of corruption offenses that took place between 2023 and 2024.
Today, following the legal authorizations obtained from the competent court, searches are being carried out in 108 locations within Suceava County. These locations include three public institutions (such as Rădăuți Hospital, Rădăuți Technical College, and Suceava Police Department), two headquarters of private legal entities, and 82 residences of individuals.
At Rădăuți Hospital, the searches are being conducted to gather evidence for a case involving illegal hirings and bribery from patients.
Doctors Flaviu Sima and Liviu Dubei from Rădăuți were brought in for questioning after searches were conducted at their offices and residences, and various documents were seized.
The searches at Rădăuți Technical College are related to potential fraud in hiring competitions.
Regarding the searches at Suceava Police Department, a police officer from Milișăuți is under suspicion of receiving bribes to let several drunk drivers off the hook.
The prosecutors are receiving support from the officers of the General Anticorruption Directorate and the Mobile Gendarmerie Group from Bacău.
