Pitești is gearing up for a series of exciting events that promise to engage, educate, and entertain the local community. From October 21st to October 26th, 2024, the Pitești Cultural Center will be hosting a variety of cultural, educational, and personal development activities that are not to be missed.
These events can be enjoyed both online, through the institution’s Facebook page and official website (www.centrul-cultural-pitesti.ro), as well as in person at the Ars Nova hall at Casa Cărții, subject to seat availability.

Monday, October 21st:
– Lecture on „Chinese Tea in Feng-Shui“ at 1:00 PM in the Ars Nova hall, featuring Sorin Dinu, a Feng-Shui specialist.
– Lyrical recital „Nostalgia and Dreaming“ at 4:00 PM in the Ars Nova hall, presented by writer and visual artist Loreta Din, accompanied by singer-songwriter Dorian Sterie.
Tuesday, October 22nd:
– Dialogue on „About the Soul… (II)“ at 11:00 AM in the Ars Nova hall, led by poet Simona Vasilescu, with guest Dr. Crenguța Belegan, a psychologist.
– Lecture on „The Romanian Exodus in the Era of Globalization“ at 3:00 PM in the Ars Nova hall, coordinated by Dr. Marius Andreescu, with guest Dr. Mihaela Stănciulescu.
– Dialogue on „Radu Gyr – Resistance through Faith“ at 5:00 PM in the Ars Nova hall, led by Prof. Dr. Magda Grigore, with guest Lecturer Dr. Alexandru Mărchidan.
Wednesday, October 23rd:
– Lecture on „Where is Romanian Education Heading?“ at 11:00 AM in the Ars Nova hall, presented by Lucian Costache.
– Lecture on „Anton Pann (1796/1797 – 1854)“ at 2:00 PM, presented by Iudita Dodu Ieremia.
– Lecture on „The Purpose of Life: A Journey towards Enlightenment or Salvation“ at 5:00 PM, presented by Alexandra Grigorescu.
Thursday, October 24th:
– Lecture on „Artificial Intelligence is Coming“ at 1:00 PM, coordinated by George Smeoreanu.
– Double book launch at 5:00 PM as part of the „Literary Confluences“ project.
Saturday, October 26th:
– TRIVALE FEST 2024 National Folk Music Festival at 6:00 PM at the Pitești Philharmonic. The event will feature a singing competition and performances by Nicu Alifantis & Răzvan Mirică/Gemini and Trupa CALEnDAR.
