The reconstruction of the road in the Hertník – Kľušovská Zábava section in the Bardejov district has been ongoing since March of this year. With a planned completion date in November, the total investment for this project amounts to 2.8 million euros. As a result of the reconstruction work, there are currently traffic restrictions in place in the area.
The initial phase of the reconstruction focused on the first section of the road, starting from the intersection of road III/3491 with a local road in the village of Hertník, all the way to the intersection of roads III/3491 and III/3494 in the village of Šiba. During this phase, new asphalt was laid, shoulders were filled, and vertical and horizontal road markings were implemented.
Currently, work is progressing in the section from the intersection of roads III/3491 and III/3494 in the village of Šiba to Kľušovská Zábava. A complete road closure is in effect in this area and will continue until the planned completion date of November 30th. Temporary traffic signs have been put in place to guide drivers through the designated detour route.
The proposed detour route for drivers traveling from Kľušovská Zábava to Šiba includes road III/3491 towards Kľušovská Zábava, road II/545 towards Kľušov – Kobyly – Janovce, road III/3493 towards Janovce – Bartošovce – Hertník, road III/3491 towards Hertník, and road III/3494 towards Šiba. On the other hand, for drivers heading from Šiba to Kľušovská Zábava, the proposed route includes road III/3491 towards Hertník, road III/3493 towards Hertník – Bartošovce – Janovce, road II/545 towards Janovce – Kobyly – Kľušov – Kľušovská Zábava, and road III/3491 towards Kľušovská Zábava.
The ongoing reconstruction of the road in the Hertník – Kľušovská Zábava section is essential for improving the infrastructure and ensuring the safety of motorists in the region.
