The electronic auction and competition portal administered by the Register Center did not disappoint in the third quarter of this year, with various attractive real estate properties ending up in the hands of lucky winners. This year, the electronic auctions and competitions held in July-September helped organizers earn nearly 6 million euros more, showcasing a significant difference between the initial and final selling prices of properties listed on the portal www.evarzytynes.lt.
According to the Register Center, in the third quarter of this year, the portal saw the publication of 3.1 thousand new electronic auctions and competitions, with 1.2 thousand actually taking place. The total value of the sold properties during these events amounted to 38.9 million euros, with the initial price of all properties sold in the quarter being 33.2 million euros.
The results of the third quarter’s electronic auctions and competitions revealed that properties were sold for almost 5 million euros in auctions organized by trustees, 1 million euros in municipal auctions, 19.2 million euros in insolvency administrator competitions, and 2.5 million euros in auctions held by other institutions. Additionally, the Property Bank organized auctions totaling 8.4 million euros during the same period.
The highest increase in property prices was observed in insolvency administrator competitions, National Land Service and Property Bank auctions, where land plots were being sold. Various institution-led auctions, featuring the sale of different types of vehicles or agricultural machinery, also garnered significant interest from participants.
Among the winners were guesthouses and houses in resorts. The most expensive property sold in the third quarter’s electronic auctions and competitions was the former Security Service premises of the Government Protection Department, located on Pamėnkalnio Street in Vilnius, which fetched nearly 3 million euros at the Property Bank auction.
In second place were guesthouses on Vytenio Street in the capital, sold for 1.9 million euros in competitions organized by insolvency administrators. The third spot was taken by the liquidation of „Glasma service“ company’s administrative premises in Vilnius, which were sold for almost 1.3 million euros. Buyers also agreed to pay nearly 1 million euros for a leisure building in Palanga, sold in insolvency administrator competitions. The top five concluded with a residential house and land plot in Trakai, sold for almost 0.7 million euros in trustee competitions.
The Register Center has been providing electronic property realization services since 2013, with approximately 33 thousand electronic auctions and competitions taking place since then, resulting in the sale of properties worth more than 1 billion euros.
