The Real Estate and Housing Developers Association (Rehda) Selangor is gearing up for the upcoming Malaysian Property Expo (Mapex) Selangor 2024, with high hopes of making homeownership accessible to all homebuyers in the Klang Valley. The association expects at least RM350 million in sales during the three-day expo, showcasing a wide range of real estate opportunities in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.
Rehda Selangor chairman Datuk Zaini Yusoff expressed optimism about the event, stating that Mapex Selangor 2024 will feature properties with prices catering to a diverse spectrum of buyers. From affordable houses starting at RM250,000 to high-end projects priced at RM2.5 million, there will be something for everyone at the expo.
„We want everyone to own a home,“ Zaini emphasized during the Mapex Selangor 2024 press conference. The goal is to ensure that prospective homebuyers have access to a variety of housing options that suit their preferences and budget.
With a total of RM4.8 billion worth of properties set to be showcased at Mapex Selangor 2024, Rehda Selangor is targeting a conservative estimate of at least 5% or RM350 million in sales. Zaini highlighted the significance of the event, noting that Rehda Selangor is the largest state branch with over 370 members out of 1,500 Rehda members nationwide, representing developers across the country.
The expo will feature participation from 11 property developers, including well-known names such as Chin Hin Group Bhd, Glomac Bhd, Mahsing Bhd, UEM Sunrise Bhd, and more. These developers will present a diverse range of projects located in prominent areas like Ampang, Bangsar, KLCC, Puchong, and Sungai Buloh, among others.
Various property types will be showcased at Mapex Selangor 2024, including apartments, condominiums, landed properties, office suites, serviced residences, and more. The event aims to provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of the real estate market in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, offering something for every buyer’s preference and budget.
Mapex Selangor 2024 is scheduled to take place from April 26-28 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, providing an excellent opportunity for homebuyers to explore a wide range of property options and make informed decisions about their future investments.
