Trinity McFadden, with The Bindery Agency, has recently negotiated a world rights deal with Zondervan for a new book titled No More Boring Bible Study: How to Read and (Finally) Understand Scripture. The book is authored by Faith Womack, a content creator, speaker, and founder of How to Faith a Life. The acquisition editor, Paul Pastor, is set to empower readers with tools and confidence to better understand the Bible. The book is scheduled for publication in 2026.
Brazos Press Explores Influential Women in Church History
Katelyn Beaty, the editorial director at Brazos Press, has acquired world rights to Church Mothers by Joy Marie Clarkson. Clarkson, a research associate in theology and literature at King’s College London, is also the Books & Culture Editor at Plough and the host of the Speaking with Joy podcast. The book will delve into the history and context of influential Christian women by imagining moments in their lives and highlighting their contributions to Christian history. Church Mothers is expected to be released in spring 2026.

Executive editor Bob Hosack at Brazos Press has secured world rights to To Set the World Aflame by W. David O. Taylor. Taylor, an Anglican priest and associate professor of theology and culture at Fuller Theological Seminary, offers readers a vision for artistic vocation that draws on theological, historical, pastoral, and missional resources. The book is set to provide new insights into the aesthetic aspects of our lives and is scheduled for publication in summer 2026.

Nilwona Nowlin, associate editor at IVP, has acquired world rights to David A. Washington’s upcoming book, tentatively titled Don’t Despise Our Youth. Washington, the founding pastor of Kingdom Covenant Church Chicago, addresses the youth ministry crisis, particularly in urban settings, using scripture, personal stories, and testimonies to inspire readers to support youth and youth workers. The book is expected to be published in summer 2025.

David Morris, the publisher of Lake Drive Books, has acquired world rights to Nia Chiaramonte’s memoir, I Hardly Knew Me: Rediscovering Compassion and Resilience in the Moments of Gender Transition. Chiaramonte, the cofounder of Love in the Face, explores themes of self-discovery, resilience, and love in the context of gender transition. The memoir, set to be released in July 2025, aims to help readers understand gender transition and themselves through humor and personal reflection.
