:uk.news.yahoo.com

When it comes to buying a house with a garden, the location can make all the difference. Data from the Office for National Statistics has recently revealed the best and worst places in Brighton to buy a property with ample garden space. Let’s take a closer look at the top and bottom contenders in this ranking.

Topping the list of the best places for garden space in Brighton is Portslade, boasting a total of 2,090,506 square metres of private garden space. Following closely behind are Roedean and Marina, with 2,019,973 square metres. These areas offer plenty of greenery and outdoor space for homeowners to enjoy.

On the flip side, areas such as Brunswick, Seven Dials, North Laine, and The Lanes, as well as Hove, were deemed the worst for those looking for properties with substantial garden space. Brunswick takes the top spot for lack of garden space by a significant margin, with a mere 7,112 square metres. Seven Dials follows closely behind with 40,712 square metres.

In the middle of the pack, we have areas like Woodingdean with 1,085,955 square metres, West Blatchington with 990,908 square metres, and Patcham West and Westdene with 966,886 square metres. These areas offer a decent amount of garden space for homeowners who value outdoor living.

The top ten list for the best areas for garden space in Brighton includes Portslade, Roedean and Marina, Rottingdean and Saltdean, Woodingdean, West Blatchington, Patcham West and Westdene, Patcham East, Hollingbury, Hangleton South, and Withdean Woods. These areas provide ample opportunities for gardening, outdoor entertaining, and relaxation in a green setting.

On the other hand, the top ten list for the worst areas for garden space in Brighton features Brunswick, Seven Dials, North Laine and The Lanes, Hove Central, Kemptown, St James’s Street and Queen’s Park, Round Hill, Goldsmid West, King Alfred, and Hanover. These areas may not offer as much outdoor space for homeowners to enjoy, making them less ideal for those who prioritize having a garden.

Whether you’re a green thumb looking for a spacious garden to tend to or simply enjoy outdoor living, the location of your property can greatly impact your lifestyle. Consider these rankings when searching for your next home in Brighton, and prioritize the outdoor space that suits your needs and preferences.
