Riot Games Set to Launch ‚Valorant Champions Finale‘ Album Featuring the Best Tracks

Riot Games, the developer behind the popular free-to-play 5v5 character-based tactical shooter game „Valorant,“ has announced the lineup for the opening ceremony of its Champions tour finale. The event will feature performances by artists Odetari and Lay Bankz, who will be performing their recent release „Run!“ The finale is set to take place on August 25 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, South Korea, marking the conclusion of the competitive season for „Valorant.“

„Valorant“ is set on a near-future Earth and allows players to choose from a diverse cast of agents, each with unique tactical abilities that can be used strategically during gameplay. These abilities range from gathering information and fortifying locations to breaching defensive sites and controlling territory. The game offers players a variety of tactical opportunities to outsmart their opponents and secure victory.

The opening ceremony lineup for the Champions tour finale includes performances by artists such as Madge, Julie, Natty of Kiss Of Life, and Mark Tuan. These performances aim to embody the spirit of „Valorant“ and set the stage for an exciting and competitive event. Additionally, Riot Games Music will be releasing a „Best of Valorant“ album on August 28, featuring tracks from various artists who have collaborated with the game.

Riot Games has been actively engaging with the music industry, collaborating with artists such as Zedd, Ashnikko, and Grabbitz to create unique and immersive experiences for players. The company’s focus on music as a key element of the gaming experience has resonated with players, with a recent consumer survey revealing that „Valorant“ players spend more time listening to music compared to other gaming titles.

As „Valorant“ expands to console systems like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S, Riot Games is looking to introduce its larger audience to the game’s community through music. The company’s music division has been ramping up collaborations, IP expansion, and live events to create memorable experiences for players. The success of recent live music events surrounding „Valorant“ has paved the way for even bigger plans in the future.

Riot Games Music lead music supervisor Jonny Altepeter and head of music and events Maria Egan are excited about the future of music collaborations within the „Valorant“ universe. They believe that music plays a crucial role in creating lasting memories for players and enhancing their overall gaming experience. By combining music and gaming in innovative ways, Riot Games is creating a unique and immersive world for players to enjoy.

In conclusion, Riot Games‘ focus on music as a key element of the gaming experience has proven to be a successful strategy. The upcoming Champions tour finale and the release of the „Best of Valorant“ album are just a few examples of how the company is leveraging music to enhance the player experience. As „Valorant“ continues to grow and evolve, we can expect to see even more exciting collaborations and events that bring together the worlds of music and gaming.
