San Antonio Secures 21 National TV Games Featuring Victor Wembanyama

The day is finally here for the San Antonio Spurs as they gear up for the upcoming NBA season. After a 22-60 campaign that saw them secure top talent in Stephon Castle and a 2031 first-round pick, the team is ready to make a statement. Led by standout power forward Victor Wembanyama, the Silver & Black are eager to showcase their potential once again.

Just like last year, the Spurs will kick off their season against the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets on October 24 and 26, respectively. These early matchups will set the tone for their journey in the 2024 NBA Cup. Last season, San Antonio earned 19 nationally televised games, thanks to the emergence of their young team led by Wembanyama. They even had the opportunity to face off against top teams like the Los Angeles Lakers, further solidifying their status as a team to watch.

This season, the Spurs have added two more national TV games to their schedule, bringing their total to 21. If they advance to the knockout stages of the NBA Cup, this number could increase even further. The team is determined to build on their success from last season and continue to grow and improve.

Some key dates to look out for include the start of the NBA Cup knockout rounds on December 10 and the All-Star Break from February 14-16. The Spurs will also embark on their annual Rodeo Road Trip starting on February 3, which is their longest road trip of the year. Additionally, they will have a seven-game home stand in March, facing off against teams like the Mavericks and the 76ers.

With a total of 21 national TV games, a Christmas Day matchup, and games in marquee locations, the Spurs have a unique and exciting schedule ahead of them. With players like Wembanyama, Devin Vassell, Chris Paul, Castle, and Harrison Barnes on their roster, the team is poised to make waves in the league. If they continue to develop and improve, the Spurs will undoubtedly attract attention and be a force to be reckoned with, both on and off the court.
