The Czech Republic Embassy in Kuala Lumpur is pleased to announce an upcoming export seminar organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, focusing on diversifying export markets in the context of the war in Ukraine, this time targeting Southeast Asia. The seminar is designed for Czech companies and will take place on Thursday, April 14, 2022, either physically at the ministry’s headquarters at Na Františku 32, Prague 1, or online. Representing the Czech Republic Embassy will be economic diplomat Milan Dostál.
This seminar marks the sixth installment in a series of export seminars organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in response to the war in Ukraine. This time, the focus shifts to more distant but highly promising markets in Southeast Asia.
Due to the significant time difference with Southeast Asian countries, the organizers have decided to move away from the usual afternoon schedule. In the following weeks, they will strive to coordinate the daily routines of Czech and foreign participants. The event will now take place from 10:00 to 12:00. The physical capacity is limited to 40 people, and the address remains the same at Na Františku 32.
The lineup of speakers for the seminar includes:
– Lukáš Martin, Director of the International Relations Section of the Confederation of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic
– Marek Libřický, Ambassador, Czech Embassy in Bangkok (online)
– Alena Štojdlová, Deputy Ambassador, Czech Embassy in Jakarta (online)
– Michal Sontodinomo, Head of the Foreign Office of CzechTrade in Jakarta (online)
– Milan Dostál, 3rd Secretary, Czech Embassy in Kuala Lumpur (online)
– Maroš Martin Guoth, 3rd Secretary, Czech Embassy in Manila (online)
– Štěpán Kolanda, Deputy Director of the Export Credit and Investment Insurance Department, EGAP
The seminar will be moderated by Richard Hlavatý, Director of the Department of Foreign Economic Policy II at the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Participants are requested to indicate whether they will attend physically or online in the „note“ column. Registration is available at https://mpo.cz/registrace-na-udalost462.html.
Milan Dostál, Commercial Counselor at the Czech Republic Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, encourages Czech companies to take advantage of this opportunity to explore new export markets in Southeast Asia and diversify their business operations. The seminar promises to provide valuable insights and networking opportunities for all participants.
