The „Singgah Kasih Mahasiswa (SKM) 4.0“ community program held at Masjid Al-Jawahir in Mutiara Rini, Johor, showcased the power of volunteerism and compassion in action. This initiative, a continuation of the successful SKM 3.0 event from March 2023, aimed to raise awareness among Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) students about the importance of giving back to the community while providing much-needed assistance to the B40 group, who are among the less fortunate.
Organized by the Persatuan Strategi, Faculty of Management, in collaboration with the Masjid Al-Jawahir committee, SKM 4.0 took place on June 29, 2024. The program focused on providing essential items to 40 families in need, both at the mosque and through direct home visits. Volunteers dedicated their time and effort to prepare and package these items, which included food supplies, hygiene products, and other necessities.
