We Are Social Singapore, a socially-led creative agency, has recently launched vector, a community that aims to bring together global creators and innovators to collaborate on immersive experiences and resources that push the boundaries of creativity. This new platform is designed to cater to brands looking to explore cutting-edge and innovative creative work that breaks new ground in the industry.
The vector community boasts a diverse range of specialist skills, including 3D motion design, CGI, and product design. By leveraging the expertise of its members, vector provides brands with access to a pool of talent that is constantly pushing the envelope and exploring new frontiers in creativity. One of the community’s first collaborations is with the condom brand, P.S. Condoms, on an upcoming campaign.
Powered by .XYZ, the future strategy and innovation arm of We Are Social, vector’s founding community is comprised of 23 forward-thinking creators from various disciplines and regions around the world. This includes notable figures such as Japanese ‚human flesh‘ artist and DJ, Doooo; New York-based polymath artist, Samar Younes; Singaporean visual artist and CGI specialist, Aundraj Jude; and Berlin-based visual artist, Reza Hasni. Together, these creators work in multiplayer mode to deliver ‚drops‘ and creative work that not only moves culture but also generates buzz-worthy ideas.
To introduce vector to the world, the community has released DROP001, a zine featuring creative work, interviews, and essays from its members. This zine is available for purchase on Metalabel, providing a glimpse into the diverse talents and perspectives within the vector community.
Nai Yen Wang, managing director of We Are Social Singapore, emphasized the agency’s commitment to leading the evolution of marketing by creating spaces like vector that foster collaboration and innovation. Agalia Tan, vector lead and senior planner at We Are Social Singapore, highlighted the community’s focus on collaboration and reimagining traditional creative processes in a more communal setting.
Domingo Beta, a vector creator and co-founder of Veleta Studiolab, shared insights into the creative journey behind vector’s first drop, emphasizing the blend of vibrant energy from featured artists with informative content that unveils the techniques and structures behind their work. This approach not only showcases the diverse pool of contributors but also invites future enthusiasts to explore new possibilities and contribute to the growth of the project.
Overall, vector represents a new frontier in creativity, bringing together a global community of creators and innovators to redefine how brands engage with their audiences in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. With its focus on collaboration, innovation, and pushing boundaries, vector is poised to make a significant impact on the creative industry and inspire new ways of thinking about marketing and branding.
