Customer Experience is valued by pet owners, accounting for 17.5% of our review. We score each company based on website accessibility, customer service, mobile apps, money-back guarantees, and veterinarian telehealth options. Companies with the most customer experience offerings receive the most points.
Industry Standing (10%) and Availability (10%) are also important factors in our review process. We review ratings and accreditation information from the Better Business Bureau and Trustpilot, as well as years of industry experience. We also consider age limits for older pets, state availability, international coverage, and coverage options for breeds considered dangerous.
