As a member of the IEEE Education Society’s Board of Directors for the term 2021-2023, Dr. Diana Andone was re-elected in August 2023 to continue her role as vice president responsible for conferences, workshops, and events. This makes her the first Romanian member to hold such a position within the organization. In 2021, she was awarded the „Distinguished Chapter Leadership“ award by the IEEE Education Society for her outstanding contributions to e-learning activities and innovative approaches to digital education in Romania.
