Kuala Lumpur, 26 Oct. – Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is a pioneering engineering and technology-based university that is dedicated to making a profound impact on society. The opening ceremony of the event was graced by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education (MOHE), Datuk Mohammad Yusof Haji Apdal, who emphasized the importance of initiatives like NEXPO in addressing contemporary challenges such as disruptive technology, food security, and climate change.
During the event, UTM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Datuk. Ir. The event also saw the launch of two significant publications authored by Prof. Emeritus Datuk Ir. A key highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between UTM and Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (PROLINTAS) for the CEO@Faculty program, solidifying their commitment to advancing academia-industry collaboration. Additionally, the prestigious UTM 2023 AIMS4STAR Award ceremony recognized the outstanding contributions of private and public partners, celebrating their efforts in propelling academic and research excellence.
The two-day event organized by the UTM Department of Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) witnessed the participation of 460 industry players, including sponsors like Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), RHB Bank Berhad, Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC), Fuji Electric (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, and UTM Holdings Sdn Bhd.
