Youth Empowerment Society (YES) Module: Nurturing Future Leaders in Pahang
In today’s rapidly changing world, the need for strong and capable youth leaders has never been more crucial. Recognizing this, the Youth Empowerment Society (YES) module in Pahang has been instrumental in uncovering the unique qualities of young individuals while also preparing them to become the next generation of leaders in the state.
The YES module, as highlighted by the Exco of Communication and Multimedia, Youth, Sports, and Non-Governmental Organizations, YB Tuan Fadzli Mohamad Kamal, is designed to produce charismatic, skilled, and competitive youth leaders who can serve as valuable assets to the Pahang State Government.
In a recent gathering with participants of the Module Refinement Workshop and Training of Trainers (T.O.T) for Youth Empowerment Society at Scapes, Bentong, YB Tuan Fadzli emphasized the importance of equipping youth with the necessary skills to navigate the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and other evolving societal dynamics.
He stressed that today’s youth must be vigilant and adaptable to thrive in a world that is constantly changing. By instilling qualities of leadership, resilience, and competitiveness through programs like YES, young individuals can better position themselves to succeed in a rapidly transforming landscape.
Accompanied by the Director of the Pahang Youth and Sports Department (JBS), Mr. Mua’zamir Jili, his deputy, Mr. Sahfrul Kadir, and the President of the Pahang State Youth Council, Mr. Mohd Izzat Afifi Abdul Hamid, YB Tuan Fadzli reiterated the role of quality youth leaders in guiding and inspiring their peers to face life’s challenges head-on.
He emphasized that the YES program plays a pivotal role in nurturing individuals who possess leadership qualities, decision-making skills, and a calm demeanor, ultimately shaping them into valuable assets for the State Government.
